Call for Abstracts

The abstract submission is extended open until 7 April until 19 April 2023.

We would like to invite conference participants to contribute to the scientific programme of the EUFEMED conference 2023 by submitting abstracts that can be considered as poster prestentation.
Abstracts with a focus on Exploratory Medicines Development are highly welcome. Presented topics may be related to the conference topic or may concern other methodological or scientific aspects of translational pharmacology and early phase clinical trials. Please consider that your submission should be written in English and your abstract should not contain more than 350 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations) and a maximum of 2 figures or tables. Please submit your abstract as a pdf using the template only.

Accepted abstracts will be shown as posters at the conference, accessible throughout all days of the conference. Out of all accepted abstracts, the poster programme committee will select 6 posters for additional short oral presentation on 25 May 2023 (10 min presentation, 5 min discussion, maximum 8-10 slides advised). Out of all abstracts, 1 best poster and 1 best short presentation will be awarded with 300 Euro each.

The conference fee for the main author of an accepted abstract (1 person per poster only) is the ‘young scientist’ participation fee (340 Euro). Accepted abstracts will be published on the EUFEMED conference website.

Guidelines for abstract submission

General

Conference participants interested in sharing their scientific work are invited to submit an abstract. This abstract will be reviewed by the poster programme committee.

Preparation of your abstract

Please consider the following guidelines:

  • Your submission should be written in English.
  • Please use the template available on this conference website.
  • Your abstract should not contain more than 350 words (excluding title, authors and affiliations).
  • You can include up to 2 figures or tables in your abstract.
  • The abstract should state the categories ‘Title’, Authors’, Affiliations’, ‘Introduction’, ‘Method and Materials’, ‘Results’, ‘Conclusion’ and ‘References.

Please submit your abstract as pdf to the conference office (meetings[@]csihamburg.de) by the submission deadline 07 April 2021 at the latest.

By submitting your contribution, you accept the publication of your material in the context of the event. Slide presentations will be available to registered Conference participants as PDF views.

You will receive information of acceptance of your abstracts by end of April 2023. All abstracts will be presented as posters. In addition, some abstracts will also be selected for short oral presentation

Award ceremony

Out of all accepted abstracts, the poster programme committee will select 6 posters for additional short oral presentation on 25 May 2023 (10 min presentation, 5 min discussion, maximum 8-10 slides advised). Out of all abstracts, 1 best poster (300 Euro) and 1 best short presentation (500 Euro) will be awarded.
